In the old standard IEC 60335-2-14:2014, the input power of electric appliances is only limited to the upper deviation value, as shown in the figure:
It can be seen from the table that when the normal temperature rise test is carried out for electric appliances, the loading test of the motor only needs to meet the risk assessment. Under no dangerous conditions, the prototype is allowed to fail to reach the nominal rated power. In this case, there are more electric appliance power virtual standard phenomenon on the market, which has caused widespread discussion.
 
Therefore, in view of this phenomenon, in the standard IEC 60335-2-14:2016 issued in 2016, the test power requirement for normal temperature rise has added this restriction, which will definitely have a great impact on the cost and certification of the kitchen electric appliance manufacturing industry.
